Hot Pour Crack & Joint Sealant
Base failure, increasing width and spalling are conditions resulting from unsealed cracks and joints. DEERY sealants are the solution for both asphalt and concrete pavements.
Typical Sealing Configurations
The crack-sealing maintenance procedure involves placement of specialized materials into working cracks using unique configurations to reduce the intrusion of incompressibles into the crack and to prevent the intrusion of water into the underlying pavement layers. Working cracks are defined as those that experience significant horizontal movements, generally greater than about 2 mm (.1 in.). * Typical sealing configurations are shown below.
Cost effective results can be achieved when the proper sealant is matched to specific environmental conditions and traffic profile.
Hot-Pour Crack & Joint Filler
Through dontinual research, development and field testing, DEERY products continues to incorporate the most-recent technological improvements into its vast line of sealants.
Typical Filling Configurations: The crack-filling maintenance procedure involves the placement of materials into non-working cracks to substantially reduce infiltration of water and to reinforce the adjacent pavement.
Working cracks are defined as those that experience significant horizontal movements, generally greater than about 2 mm (.1 in.). Crack-filling should be distinguished from crack-sealing.
Typical filling configurations are shown below:
DEERY Sealants and Fillers
DEERY sealants and fillers are highly modified to absorb thermal movement in working cracks and joints. *AASHTO, ASTM, FAA, Federal and specialty-grade products, including the World’s #1 selling direct-fired sealant: Super Stretch.
